Winterbourne house and gardens are part of the University of Birmingham in Edgbaston. The house was built in 1905 for the Nettlefold family in the Arts and Crafts style.

I have provisionally booked 15 places for the visit on Friday 15 May with a garden tour at 2pm. Cost £15.25.

I plan to take the 10.31am train from Redditch to University station (£7.50) and then walk 16 minutes to the gardens. Alternatively, there is a bus which would still mean a 5 minute walk.

After arriving, you would be free to take a self guided tour of the house and have lunch before the garden tour. Afterwards, you will have free time.

Sylvia and I plan to return to the station for the 16.23 pm train but you are free to return when you wish.

To book the garden tour I need 15 at least. I need commitments by 1 April and payment in full by 24 April. Payments would be non refundable. If I cannot get 15, we could still go but without the garden tour.
