This year our annual coach trip will be to Leicester to do the Richard 3rd experience.  The date will be Thursday August 27.  You can just come with us to Leicester if you wish. 

Last year’s trip to Oxford was enjoyed by all and I am sure this year will be equally good.   

The plan is to leave the Abbey Stadium Redditch at 9.30 am and drive to the centre of Leicester near the Richard 3rd Visitor Centre.  Afterwards Leicester Cathedral is quite close where he was reburied.  After an early lunch the options are, stay in Leicester and do your own thing, travel by coach to the National Space Centre for the afternoon or alternatively continue to Bosworth Field battle site and its museum.  

The coach would then return to the centre of Leicester, pick up members there, then head to the National Space Centre and from there to Bosworth and onwards to Redditch to arrive about 6.00pm depending on traffic. 

Last year’s cost was £22 plus £1 tip. This year I propose £23 plus 50p tip. Entry to the museums would be extra and paid on the day.
