This group has just celebrated its first anniversary and is now well established. This is an opportunity to enjoy an affordable lunch over chat and laughter together. The group will provide the opportunity for meeting old friends and making new ones and for enjoying good conversation.
We will meet in a selection of pubs and restaurants around the Redditch area.

Lunch Club at the Throckmorton on Thursday 14th May 2026
Our May lunch club met at the Throckmorton and enjoyed the fixed price menu. Both the service and food were excellent and as always, there was much animated and friendly discussion around the table. No politics! No moans or groans! And only a few words about the weather!
Taking up a suggestion from one of our members, we are planning to meet at The Fish at Wixford for our next meeting on Thursday, June 11th at 12.00.
Lunch Club at the Maekong Thai in Bromsgrove

We braved a horrible cold rainy day to venture to Bromsgrove for our get together at the Maekong Thai restaurant.
It was very quiet which allowed us quick and friendly service. The food was tasty and well presented. Our member Alan Adamson had recommended this restaurant as he had been coming for 20 years.
We will definitely return next year.
Lunch Club at Hillers Thursday 6th November 2025
Hillers was a very pleasant venue for our lunch club November meeting. Eight of us were seated looking out onto the garden in its red, brown and yellow autumn colours. The menu offered a wide selection for everyone to enjoy and was freshly prepared. There was a general feeling that we should return next year.

Twelve of us gathered for the monthly lunch club meeting at Manor Farm. The food was very good with a wide menu choice and again it was a very pleasant social occasion.
First "Meeting" of the Lunch Club on Thursday 13th February 2025
Fourteen of us gathered for the first meeting of the Lunch Club. We met at The Golden Goose, a very reliable restaurant offering good food at good prices. Most of us had the carvery - a very generous portion for £10.25 - and there wasn't an unhappy soul around the table! Good food facilitated good conversation, so it was an ideal way to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
