This is a discussion group for people interested in exploring philosophical ideas and relating them to everyday life. You do not need to have studied Philosophy previously.
Members take turns to present a topic, which may be an account of the life and work of a specific philosopher or an approach to a question, such as “Is it ever right to break the law?”
The presentation may be quite short, acting as the stimulus for discussion. Everyone is encouraged to join in the debate, and to present their own arguments, while remaining respectful of other people’s opinions.
Please contact the Group Leader to receive the joining information for Zoom.
