This Interest group is aimed at people who would like a shorter walk other than that offered by our Roving Ramblers Group who generally walk 4 to 5 miles.

These “Ambles" will be fairly local to Redditch, easy walking and limited to a maximum of 3 miles. Most of the walks will also offer the option of a shorter route as well - but always meeting up at the same start and end point with hopefully a chance for a coffee and a chat!

The walks are all planned by one of our members who is very experienced in walking and planning walks around Redditch. The group runs from April to October taking place on the second Wednesday of the month starting at 10.00 am (but please keep an eye on the website in case of any changes at the last minute due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances).

The Ambles planned for 2026 are as follows:
April 8th - Church Hill (2 miles)
May 13th - Earlswood Lakes
June 10th - Studley
July 8th - Southcrest
August 12th - Chaddesley Corbet from Rowberry’s
September 9th - Town Centre walk
October 14th - Lakeside Autumn Colour
